In this modern era, we often meet a lot of transportation’s problem. It is because the needs of vehicles increases every year and it is affecting traffic volume and becomes one of the factors for accidents. Therefore, it is necessary to study the analysis of the relations between the volume ratio of road capacity and accidents to decrease the occurrence of accidents. This study aims to identify the potential and accident characteristics, analyze the relations between the ratio of road capacity and speed, and analyze the relations between the ratio of the volume road capacity with the potential and accidents. The method used for this study refers to 1997 Bina Marga regulation. Vehicle speed and accident analysis uses statistical analysis with regression and determination and reapplication Microsoft Excel. The results shows that the types of accidents that often occur are front-side collisions and single accidents with a percentage of 33%. Motorcycles are vehicles that are often involved in accidents with a percentage of 95%. The relations between volume ratio and road capacity with speed shows the linear regression equation is y = (-166,1) x + 105,59 with R2 = 0,7602. The relations between volume ratio and road capacity with accident potential is y = 3641,1e(-9.528) with R² = 0,8267. The relation between volume ratio and road capacity with accident potential y = 3641,1e(-9.528) x with R² = 0,8267. The relation between the volume ratio of road capacity is y = 131557886.8173e-35.8939x with R² = 0.7016. The final result of the study concluded that a high RVK value will affect the decrease in the number of accidents that occur.
