Abstract

FirstJob is a portal that connects job seekers (especially fresh graduates) with companies that need workers. By using the Firstjob portal, companies can specify the minimum skills that job applicants must have. It has not been formally implemented and its usability has never been tested during development, so the easiness of the Firstjob website cannot be guaranteed. This study measures the level of usability based on the ease of use of the Moderated Testing method and the Performance Metric measurement method, using 3 Usability Metrics indicators and interviews to make suggestions for improvement. The usability test participants involved 15 partisipant and were given 12 task to do. The results of this study are based on the analysis of the task completion calculations. The success rate is 90%, there are 3 problem tasks, and then there is a problem task completion time due to exceeding the specified time limit and for an error rate of 93% with 14 cases of error there is only 1 task as well as the results of interviews 2 which have many problems. So, from these problems, recommendations for improvement for the Firstjob website are given.
