Abstract

Performance in an institution is the achievement of employee work results in carrying out work which is their work competence, employee performance in an agency can increase along with a good employee work ethic. The Maṣlaḥah Score Card (MaSC) is used to measure the benefit of an organization or business which is not limited to a financial perspective. However, MaSC is oriented towards measuring the universal benefit from both financial (treasure) and non-financial perspectives: religion, internal processes, workforce, learning, and customers. This study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic performance indicators on the Islamic work ethic of employees of the Dental and Oral Hospital of UMY, in which the application of process performance will be evaluated using the Problem Score Card (MaSC) method and get an overview of the performance and work ethic between permanent and contract employees. This research uses this type of research is Mixed Method with Embeded research design with One Shot Case Study approach. The sample in this study amounted to 69 respondents. The dependent variable in this study is the work ethic of the employees of RSGM UMY, while the independent variable is the Islamic performance indicator of the employees of RSGM UMY. The results of this study indicate that there is no influence of Islamic Performance Indicators on the work ethic of the employees of RSGM UMY. The contribution of the influence of Islamic Performance Indicators on the work ethic of employees is (∆R2) 0.041 or 4.1%; it means that there are still 95.9% of other variables that affect the performance of RSGM UMY employees. Then this study shows that the status of permanent and contract employees does not affect the understanding of performance indicators and work ethic of employees of RSGM UMY. The results of the performance measurement with a MaSC of 0.855, this indicates that RSGM UMY is sufficient to provide benefits for both material and spiritual balance. The problems achieved by RSGM UMY can have a positive impact on the owner, all human resources, the surrounding community and for government policies in general.
