Abstract
The goal of this study was to learn about the teachers' perceptions on student-centered
learning during the pandemic at a state high school in Boyolali Regency. This study served
two major goals. The initial goal was to learn about teachers' perspectives on problems they
encountered during the implementation of student-centered learning during the epidemic at a
state high school in Boyolali regency. The second goal was to learn about teachers'
perspectives on the techniques they employ to address the challenge of student-centered
learning during a pandemic. The subject of this study was two teachers in a state high school
in Boyolali regency. The approach for this research was a qualitative approach and an
interview as information gathering tool. Based on the responses of the participants, the data
revealed that they were experiencing four issues in student-centered learning during the
pandemic. Those issues is Low achievement in hard skills and soft skills, Unprepared
teachers of ICT in new Covid-19 curriculum., Students lack of motivation., and Lack of
support from learning environment. On the other hand, based on the participants’ point of
view. Based on the analysis there were three strategies that they suggest which is doing Preclass preparation, setting basic criteria for the course, and teacher and student
communication
