PROSES KREATIF SUTRADARA DALAM PEMBUATAN FILM PENDEK "ANAK LANANG" KARYA RAVACANA FILMS

The film itself is a short story and is displayed in the form of images that are
packed with camera games, editing, and existing scenarios. There is one type of
film that has caught the attention of many audiences, namely the short film. Short
films have a duration that is delivered to convey information is indeed limited by
time. This study discusses how the creative process of a director in making the
short film Anak Lanang. The purpose of this study is to find out how the creative
process of the director in making the film "Anak Lanang" by Ravacana Films. The
type of research used is descriptive qualitative approach. Descriptive research has
the aim of stating a phenomenon or situation that occurs as it is. The results of
research on the creative process of the director in making the film Anak Lanang
can be concluded that the creative process of the director goes through several
stages during pre-production which is divided into eight stages, including idea
development, research, subject selection, treatment, method, script breakdown and
funding. The creative process carried out by the director begins with discussions
from the cameraman and also the producer to create ideas. When compiling ideas,
there are creative elements that appear to be written into story ideas, one of which
is the oneshot shooting technique. During the production stage, there were some
improvisations on the script. Then in the post-production stage, it is only done by
stabilizing the vibrating image because there is no need to combine the image
pieces, considering that the Anak Lanang film was shot using the oneshot
technique.
