Abstract

The research discusses how the management of Awal Minggu's Podcast production during the pandemic. The appearance of the podcast is arguably one of the new media in broadcasting and build a new industry, especially in broadcasting Indonesia. The appearance of Podcast Awal Minggu in 2015 was one of the major podcast pioneers in Indonesia. the purpose of this study was to examine how the management of Awal Minggu's Podcast production during the pandemic. The research method used by researchers is a qualitative descriptive method, namely research that uses a scientific background and involves phenomena that occur at that time and is carried out using existing methods. the steps for data collection were carried out through in-depth interview techniques, documentation, and relevant literature. interviews were conducted online using Zoom and Email with two sources, Adriano Qalbi and Billa Ayu Kinanti as podcaster and line producer of the Awal Minggu Podcast. the finding found were that Awal Minggu podcast uses the steps that are carried out as a production, namely, carrying out pre-production, production, and post-production. The result of this research is awal minggu podcast able to apply the functions of management products to make podcast content even in this pandemic situation.
