Abstract
Background: the corruption level in Indonesia is currently in the increase, therefore an effective policy that can reduce the corruption act is needed, which is the whistleblowing system. Purpose: for finding out the effect of Machiavellian characteristic, ethic circle, professional commitment moral intensity and personal cost to the intension of performing internal whistleblowing. Research methodology: the research type is explanatory method with a quantitative approach. The data used is the primer data which are collected from questionnaire. The sample is taken from all of the Employees of Badan Pengusahaan (BP) which consist of 85 people. The analysis used is the multiple linear regression analysis. Research result: 1) Machiavellian character negatively affects the intension of performing the internal whistleblowing; 2) the ethic circle is positively affects the intension of performing the internal whistleblowing; 3) professional commitment does not significantly affect the intension of performing the internal whistleblowing; 4) moral intensity positively affects the intension of performing the internal whistleblowing; 5) personal cost positively affects the intension of performing the internal whistleblowing.
