Abstract

This research is the background that the researchers met at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta related to learning achievement on student learning outcomes in conditions before and during the covid-1 pandemic on PTs and PAS scores for the even semester of 2019/2020. In this study, the researchers tried to compare the comparative test of student learning achievement with the online and offline learning system. This study aims to: 1) Determine the learning outcomes of seventh grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year "Offline Arabic education. 2) Knowing the learning outcomes of VII grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta for the 2019/2020 academic year” online Arabic language education. 3) Knowing the comparison of the learning outcomes of Class VII students of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Middle School in the 2019/2020 academic year” Offline and online Arabic language education. The type of research used by the researcher in this research is a comparative research. By using the inferential analysis research method through a quantitative approach, the data collection techniques in this study are in the form of observation, and documentation. The subjects in this study were seventh grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta, which consisted of 250 students from 8 classes. This study used data normality test, data homogeneity test, and independent T-test to test the hypothesis. The results of this study show that: 1) Even semester learning outcomes Middle Semester Assessment (PTS) Arabic language learning for students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta has results in a sample drawn of 130 students from 250 students of class VII in the 20١٩/2020 school year with a total score of 9479 and the average value is 72.91 or can be rounded up to 73.00. The standard deviation is 0.08462 and the mean standard error is 1.43627. The mid-semester assessment is carried out offline or offline with conditions prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. 2) Even semester learning outcomes for the end-of-semester assessment (PAS) of Arabic language learning for SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta students have results in a sample drawn of 130 students from 250 class VII students in the 2019/2020 academic year with a total score of 9468 and an average score of 72.83 or can be rounded to 73.00. The standard deviation is 0.08462 and the mean standard error is 1.43627. The end of semester assessment is carried out online or online with conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic. 3) From the results of the comparison test for the mid-semester assessment and the end-of-semester assessment for grade VII SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta, data processing was carried out using SPSS 25 with a one-sample T-test paired with the Independent Sample T-Test that the significance value was 0.953 > 0.005. So it can be concluded that there is no significant difference in student learning outcomes of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta in the Covid-19 pandemic condition and before the Covid-19 condition.
